Our front yard landscaping project this week was in Sienna for the owner of Oyster Creek Studios, Mrs. Aryn Guillory. She was looking for a local landscaper in Sienna and we came highly recommended.
Aryn owns Oyster Creek Studios: a full-service Interior design studio located in West University. She specializes in large-scale interior home furnishings as well as new construction and remodeling design selections. Check out her Instagram for so much inspiration! After pursuing her website I also saw that she has a whole line of furniture made in Texas. I love that!

She took a few moments out of her busy schedule while her two boys aged 7 and 9 were swimming in their brand new pool, to chat with me about hiring Garden Guy and some fun tidbits about her life and family.
Tell me a little about yourself and your family: “I’m a mom of 2 boys. I am a working mom with a wonderful husband, Jacob and 2 beautiful boys. I own an Interior design firm.”
What do you all like to do at home? “We both love to entertain and host dinner parties. Jacob is a great cook! We love having game nights too. Home is very special to me and my family.”

Why do you love interior design? “I am a huge homebody and I love creating beautiful homes for my clients to enjoy. It’s such a perfect fit for me and I am very blessed to be able to do this as my living.” See her gorgeous site here!
What do your boys like to do best? “My boys love baseball! We are a total baseball family. We also love playing Wiffle Ball with them here at the house. Adding this new pool has obviously gotten their attention and with this heat, it has been so fun for them.”
Tell me about Molly! “Molly is our beautiful Golden Doodle. She is 2 years old.”
What has been your biggest challenge in 2022? “Balancing home life, kids and business was and is my biggest challenge.”
What’s your best advice for moms like you who also juggle so many things? “Know your glass balls and don’t let them break because you’re juggling a lot. The glass balls change by season. Know what is important in each season. Glass balls can’t be replaced. “
Why did you decide on us (Garden Guy)? “You came highly recommended, and you are local and small. I love shopping local and supporting local businesses. Todd is obviously a landscaping pro and our meetings have gone very well. I feel he truly understands what I want for our front yard landscaping. ”
